Thank you, Everyone!
You give so much more than the excellent healthcare Ray needs to help him get home. The great care gives us much needed hope.
But, You give more! You are all compassionate, kind, tolerant, understanding, and make things all better everyday the same way family and friends do. Words can not express how glad we are to be here for the healing. All of you at Chesapeake Shores are the BEST!! You make a difference and will be remembered even after Ray is home.

Dear Chesapeake Shores Staff/Friends,
The family of Lena Adkins would like to thank you for the abundant kindness, care and concern you provided our dear Mother while she was a resident at Chesapeake Shores. After 93 years of complete independence, she was apprehensive at first about committing herself to nursing home care, but in no time at all she came to think of you as “family”.
Your jobs and the services you provide are challenging. Not everyone is cut out for that line of work, but we would like to commend your organization for putting together a staff to be very proud of! While we were blessed to received excellent care from the staff at Chesapeake Shores, we would like to give special thanks for the sincere kindness showed to our Mother and our family by Valerie, Shirley, Mindy, and Dalphine. These ladies are a true credit to the nursing profession and we wish them the best in all of their future endeavors.
I’d like to express heart felt thanks for all of the years of caring for my daughter and loving her as much as her family does. Thanks again.

To Daddy’s (James Roland) caregivers at Chesapeake Shores:
Thank you so much for your care and patience with Daddy over the last couple of months. It was / is much appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for watching over Mom (Genevieve Post).
I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate the extra care shown Fran Larrabee. Mom celebrated her 84th birthday on Saturday. That morning, my husband and I dropped off some new clothes, as well as a request to have Mom clean and dressed prior to four PM. At that time, our family would gather for a celebration in the facilities conference room.
What a wonderful surprise to find Mom waiting for us upon our arrival. She was not only clean and dressed, her hair was styled, she had a silk scarf as an accessory, and she had make up on! It was heart warming to see her looking like the mom we grew up with.
To the staff at Chesapeake Shores:
Thanks to each of you for remembering and selecting Mike as one of your hometown heroes in your 2009 Hall of Fame Cafe. From the warm welcome we received when we walked through the door to the decorations to the food to the presentation ceremony, the entire evening was beyond our expectations. Thank you all for your commitment in making the evening a memorable celebration of Mike’s achievements and dedication in helping others.

The Hall of Fame Celebration was wonderful. Lloyd would be so proud, as we were. All of the help you gave me was so appreciated. Keep up the good work.
