After breakfast we headed to the Branson Scenic Railroad. There we went on a two hour tour through theOzark Mountains. The sights were beautiful, the leaves just starting to begin changing, many overlooks and even a couple tunnels. There was a pleasant broadcaster educating us about the railroad and the area it serviced.
After we arrived back at the train depot we headed to The Great American Chicken and Steak House for lunch. There were many options available, Edwin loves fried chicken and was delighted it was available! Bill had his heart set on a steak and he surely looked like he was enjoying it!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen his eyes soo big!
What trip would be complete without a little souvenir shopping? While shopping at the outdoor mall in downtown Branson, they found a 5 and Dime the guys enjoyed browsing through!
Dinner Tuesday night was held at the Big Cedar Lodge with a breathtaking view acrossTableRockLake. Edwin really enjoyed the dance lessons provided by the charming couple providing them. He was on the dance floor for nearly every song played.
